PCB issues schedule for Women Cricket Team 2025-26
Pakistan's Women Team because they will participate in ICC Women's Cricket World Cup (2025) and ICC Women's T20 World Cup (2026)
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a comprehensive calender for women cricket season 2025-2026, in which there is a special focus on international matches, domestic competition and training of young players.
This season is very important for Pakistan’s Women Team because they will participate in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup (2025) and ICC Women’s T20 World Cup (2026). Before these competitions, the team will get best oppertunity to practice in the matches against Ireland, South Africa and Zimbabwe. In particular, the T20 tri-series (Pakistan, Ireland, West Indies) will be considered as an important practice before the World Championship.

Rafia Haider indicated that the PCB is in talks with various departments to introduce departmental tournaments for women. If this project is completed, women cricketers will have the opportunity to play more matches along with permanent jobs, which will be an important step for the future of Pakistan women’s cricket.
